You can be alone and happy. Lonely is when you are alone and not happy
if no one is physically present near you then you are alone, and if no one is mentally with you then you are lonely.
You can choose to be alone but when you feel lonely, you usually don't have any control over it.
You can be alone and not feel lonely, and you can feel lonely while in a crowd of people.
Just your perspective.
Alone is an observable state. You either are or are not alone.
Lonely is subjective - a state of mind. Being alone does not necessarily mean you are lonely.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me .
You can be lonely in a crowd. You can't really be alone in a crowd.
I don't know. It night be the other way around.
Peace of mind, and wanting to blame someone else for a change.
