  • a monster
  • I did not know him as an individual, he seemed to be quite gentle and shy but that is just an impression from a few interviews.
  • Magical, very child like, warm, a sensitive individual that was deeply misunderstood.
  • To me, he came across as rather naive and saw the world through rose-tinted glasses, but I think he was a very gentle person. I've never heard any stories of him assaulting an employee or losing his temper and trashing some place, or stuff like that. Even in his music there were lots of songs against violence ("Beat It", "Earthsong" etc). His alleged child abuse was the only thing that threw a shadow over his character, and of that he was found not guilty. The rest of the news portrayed him as weird, but never really a bad person.
  • I think Michael Jackson was the victim of a very bizarre upbringing and family life, with the damage compounded by the trappings of fame. The way he mutilated himself.....er....had multiple plastic surgeries...reminds me of the Oscar Wilde story "The Picture of Dorian Gray" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Picture_of_Dorian_Gray ...except that instead of the portrait turning ever more twisted and ugly as a result of his life, it was Michael Jackson's face that suffered. May he find the peace in death that he could not find in life.
  • I think it is clear that his music was the ONLY thing he had going for him.
  • Horrible person, not just for his child molestation, but why the F**k would anyone change their race!? Are you so ashamed of yourself that you can't deal with your skin colour?
