I was taught that to call a girl too soon meant you were to eager and girls hated guys that are to eager and pushy. so I waited.

Its all about rejection and not wanting to seem like the needy one.Its all just ego rubbish.

ahhh,I believe that it is life imitating art,when I was younger it was the movie "Swingers" now we have "He's Not That Into You" The reality is that people are afraid of rejection therefore, they chose to wait and let life pass them by.
