Hello Dodger Dude, my A/C is set at the "coldest" setting, and the fan is on "low". I breathe better with drier air; this past Spring was murder on my asthma (And I live in New England). I turn if off when I leave the house though.

It varies with the outside temperature. It is usually set at 72 or so, but if we have a heat wave into the 100 degrees or more, i would adjust it upwards so as not to kill the compressor, because it would otherwise run all the time due to the high load.

The lowest, I think its 60, Its freezing in here but it makes the rest of the house perfect.
