Help answer this question below.

If my auto insurance company writes me a check payable to myself and the lienholder, do both of us have to sign it, or can i just deposit it into my account without the lienholder's signature?

    if there is a lein holder, they get their cut first, you may be able to cash it and not pay the lein, but it is check fraud (a felony)

    You and the lienholder both have to sign the check.

    Any other activitiy on your part is considered a crime.
