It's unfortunate. He was 86 though, that's a pretty good run. I'm saddened a lot more by the deaths of young people in Iran at the moment.

I didn't know that he died.I do now.He was a great figure,as well as others who were not as powerful in a celebraty.*+++++*

I don't feel bad. He lived a wealthy life, and reached an old age.

He had a nice career, although towards the end, his life became kind of pitiful. I hope he was happy, because it appeared his life was very messed up.

I feel like a real representative of America has been taken away. He was a great patriot, a great "second banana," a great broadcaster, fundraiser, and entrepreneur who represented the true spirit of America. I will miss him, his voice, his presence on the Jerry Lewis MD telethon. But he did live a long life, and I am sorry he had to go thru the financial problems he experienced the last two years of his life.
