By letting them continue. Only a Fascist would insist that Democrats be silenced. Tea Baggers was a moniker that the Tea Baggers chose to call themselves. Thus free speech. No. Calm down Wraith, you're not making much sense when you're having a hissy fit.

If you had an actual example, I would give this question creedence. FYI, the "tea baggers" chose their own name. And this sexual practice is not limited to gay people.

Obama didn't call them Tea Baggers -- that's what they called themselves. And how does calling someone a name equal stifling free speech? I don't think it's a good idea, but it is interesting how many people on the conservative side seem to feel that free speech means the freedom to not be disagreed with. It doesn't. It means you get to say what you want (which you do quite prolifically), and we get to tell you what we think about what you say.

I though I don't doubt W knows what Tea Bagging means (he was a Yale man after all), I doubt he knows what the Boston Tea party was about.

This is hardly definitive: . http://www.edgeboston.com/index.php?ch=news&sc=&sc2=news&sc3=&id=89676 . But the protesters who threw what they called 'tea parties' and were clearly trying to evoke the ethos of the Boston Tea Party and clearly not trying to suggest anything related to testicles. That was a forced association and it was done by members of the press who should be above both the childishness of the insult and the obvious partisanship in the reportage. . When the KKK march they get more even-handed press than that.
