I want to take a short four-day get away. I live in NYC and I just want to go somewhere warm. Any suggestions. What are some cheap cities I can fly to from NYC (doesnt have to be in the US, but I can only take four days from work).

Punta Cana Dominican Republic. You can get a 4 day all inclusive deal and it is AWESOME there. (I recommend the ATV tour)

I live near Savannah, Ga. It is warm and beautiful here. We also have a huge St. Patrick's day and there are lots of historic things to see.

Definitely agree with FunSince. Am going to the Dominican Republic in a few months. Staying at the Paradisus. All inclusives are probably your best bet. You literally don't have to pay for anything once you get there, except maybe an occasional buck or two for a special request or special service (they won't turn it away), or a tour outside the property. I'd also check out all-inclusives on Puerto Rico and in the Bahamas. Both are very reasonable flights from NYC. All should be direct, as far as I know. As for prices, do your Internet homework first. The usual places- travelocity, expedia, orbitz, cheaptix, cheapoair, americanexpress. Then, since you're in New York, check out Liberty Travel. Tell them you've been on the Net- they're certainly used to this. Tell them what you're interested in, but don't tell them what prices you've gotten. See how they do. If they beat your price, great. If not, go with your best internet price. I'd go to Liberty just for their Caribbean brochure. It's quite informative and lists lots and lots of properties throughout the Caribbean. Have fun!
