Help answer this question below.

My husband's friend of 10 years signed for a boat for him 2 years ago. My husband is not on the title or note. Husband has made all 24 pymts on time. We have noterized bill of sale and POA giving sole possession to husband. Now he threats to sell boat.

    If your husband has a POA to sign for the boat, go to the DMV, get a duplicate title, then have the title flipped into your name. No problem. Call the DMV. They will tell you.

    I understand the circumstances here, but the bottomline is who's name is on the title?

    This ulimately will have a bearing on the outcome of a court case.

    Did your husband use the boat for 10 years? if so, i would say he paid his way for the entertainment the boat brought him.

    Next time, both parties sign.
