Are there any people from the U.S. that would not by a foriegn made car just because it wasn't made in the U.S.

No, actually it's the other way around for me. I go so far as to not even buy foreign brands that are manufactured in the U.S., as the difference in quality between, say, a BMW X5 and a 550i is notable. People say a lot of negative things about Americans, and some of them are merited. Our reputation for being unable to build a quality automobile that is truly on par with what Europe has to offer is one of them.
