My thought exactly. I have one tattoo and while it wasn't as bad as a lot of people fear, I certainly felt it and was aware the whole time. And why would a tattoo artist risk his business by amusing himself with 53 additional stars on someone's face? I think the biggest question is why a young girl would want any stars on her face, but to each her own...

I suspect booze. I've heard it constitutes a big cause of TRS ("Tattoo Regret Syndrome") ; )

You dont, she is lying. there is no way someone could sleep through 50 something stars. Here is her picture http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1193384/What-did-expect-Incredible-face-revealed-man-tattooed-girl-56-stars-asked-three.html

As soon as I heard this story, I thought "FAKE!" ... no way it would have been possible for it to have happened as she claims ... so glad she recanted later on and the artist isn't taking the heat ... she should be sued for defamation since STUPIDITY still isn't against the law

I remember helping my sober friend get a tattoo on her hand, which led to screaming at the pain. The only way I see her falling asleep while having tattoo work done on such a delicate area is through intense inebriation, which would also explain why she requested 56 stars. Hooray booze, pastime of the common man and progenitor of more horrendous life-scarring mistakes than life itself! This is why there are tattoo parlors that have breathalyzers and lawyers.
