No, that would give me a reason to attend.
-
Why?
-
No, I go out and I buy them myself If I need them =)
-
G'day George, Thank you for your question. I don't go to church. If they started handing out condoms, I might reconsider. :>) Regards
-
No, I've never heard of this.
-
Good idea.. but you won't catch me dead in one of those guilt whore mongering places.. ;)
-
no, that would be a step toward acknowledging that people have sex before marriage. god forbid.
-
in denial of the fact that people have sex before marriage. i guess you couldn't see the eye roll that accompanied my sarcastic answer, but i was insinuating that the church i used to attend wouldn't be that practical- better to believe everyone is following christian values than to acknowledge that the sex before marriage rule is often broken.

I don't go to church.

Maybe churches should start giving out porn mags, or bottles of whiskey too? I've got an idea instead of Wednesday night Bible study they could start having orgies instead. Instead of passing around communion they could pass a blunt instead. People are going to do it anyway aren't they? Let's forget all about trying to rid people of things that can destroy their lives, and help them do it.
-
Just the basket. ;-)

I have seen a coffee shop that had a bowl of condoms on the window sill, but not a church. Churches seem to be primarily businesses so if it got bums on seats (even if they were bobbing up and down) it might be considered a smart move. It seems to go completely against what I understand as the ethos of the church.
-
I don't go to church, but if I did, I'd only pass them out if they were serving up hot dogs.

I go to Church and it would be a great way to get people thinking about addressing issues that no one dares to talk about. A real shocker! There is nothing in the Bible that says premarital sex is a sin. NOTHING!!! There is nothing in the Bible where God says masturbation is a sin. NOTHING!! There is nothing in the Bible that condemns porn!! Nothing!! The definition of adultery in the Bible is doing something with some one else that rebels against your marriage vows! Having sex with some one outside a marriage is not a sin unless you wish to have them replace your spouse. The Church has become misguided over 2000 years and has misinterpreted the bible to suit their own need for power and control over people. So, it would never happen, but why not? Great question, George!! +4
-
no, unfortunately. many people could have a use for them.
-
Lol Definately not.:)
-
i am not surprised that a church would engage in this activity. instead of reserving the moment for worshipping God, many religions use this time for their agendas.
-
Only in Catholic churches when the Sisters of Divine Pleasure invade and protest.
-
People who are jerks, ask jerky questions.
-
The last church I attended had 20,000 members. They would have to be endorsed by Trojan or Durex to pull that off. (Pun intended)
-
No, and if the church did, id make sure never to come back.
-
Heh! I can't see the Catholic church I go to doing that! :):):)
-
No, I go to a small mission church & I'm one of the youngest people there at age 45.
-
Adultery in the old Testament was only having sex with a married woman. However, men could have sex with prostitutes, handmaidens, multiple wives, and concubines without God ever telling them that they were sinning.
-
Condoms...? what, you mean the basket in which you put your money? Yeah, they do. Although, that "condom" word just sounds like plain devil worship. :D peace.
-
No, why should they? +4
-
That would be telling people to go ahead an disobey God,but use protection. What did Jesus tell the prostitutue.Go and sin no more,He didn't say Go and use protection.
-
Actually yes they do! I attend a Roman catholic church. At holy mass when you get the bread and wine they give the young people a bottle of WKD and a condom instead.
