If you got in an accident and had to be put on life support, would you want your family to keep you alive or let you pass away? why?

It depends on if i was in pain, I would say that if i was in tremendous pain and would be a vegatable the rest of my life if i survived then i would say i would want them to let me pass,

It would depend on the specific condition I was in, but if I was doomed to be a catatonic vegetable for the rest of my days, kept alive by machines and fed and drained by tubes, I would hope that they would unplug me. What kind of quality of life could one possibly have in that state?

it depends on what state i was in. if i was never going to be out of a vegetative state, then i think i would want them to let me pass away eventually. once they had time to come to terms with the fact that i would be gone.

Without brain activity, they can pull the plug any time they wish. I may already be in danger of that!

I've already told my family I do not want to be kept alive by machines. If there is no hope for me, let me go. I guess I really should have something in writing.
