Ecclesiastes refers to the fact that you asked your question in an ambigious form. you can add Java applets to your website or you can add JavaScript. these are two completely different things though they more or less root to the same language. anyhow, i think you do mean JavaScript so technicly the answer to your question is, insert a tag into your html page that looks like this: <script type='text/javascript'> // your JavaScript code goes here </script> but i'm not sure if this information gets you anywhere so could you maybe further explain what your goal is?
