I think it's a great step in the direction of better health. Smoking kills an estimated 400,000 people a year in the US - and this doesn't take into account all the sick days and medical bills that are associated with this disgusting habit.

I couldn't care less. I quit years ago. Hopefully it will get the rest of you to quit also.

I'm stunned. I thought the tobacco lobby was as strong as the pharmaceutical lobby and the NRA and all the other "special interests" that have bought and paid for congress. I wonder...gives them the power..will they use it?

I am all for banning candy cigarettes and regulating what goes into cigarettes, but where the hell does anyone get off telling me I can no longer buy light cigarettes? That is not anyone elses business.
