So is a zip drive just a more portable floppy? I need something to transfer files from work to home and don't have a floppy disk drive. What do I need?

A ZIP disk holds more data than a floppy disk, however it is bulkier. A ZIP disk does not work in a standard 3 1/2" floppy drive. A normal disk can store 1.4Mb of data. A ZIP disk can store 100 to 750 MB of date (depending on the disk). ----- The best way to transfer data is via the net or by purchasing a USB Flash drive. # http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USB_flash_drive A USB Flash drive does not require a special drive, it just plugs into your computers USB port.
