Certainly he's wrong. It is sad, however, how allied the Republican party has become with hate groups on the fringe of their right-wing base. I remember a very different Republican party that stood for integration and against the unified racist Dixiecrats back int the 60s. That inclusive Republican party is gone.

I only know a few Republicans personally in real life.Some,most are relatives.I would have to say yes....I am not saying all Republicans are,because I don`t know.And I don`t think they all could be.

I suppose that this man hasn't met many Republicans in his life. Or maybe he had just bad luck. Or he considered some people racists who were not that actually. On the other side, maybe everyone of us has some racist tendencies, but some of us are aware of them and do something about it. I am sure that many Republicans are not racist.

Of course not. Many Republicans have been blessed with a black person in their family. You see not all Republicans get what they want. They still do not have total control because they need to pop out those 2.5 children on the rosters of America. Those children, sad to say for the Republican party, are often not themseleves, Republicans. LOL for the rest of us. Because those non-republican children sometimes fall in love and mary a different race than the white one.

This kind of attitude only exacerbates race issues. When one assumes every Republican is a racist, they'll tend to put a racist spin on everything they see and hear. It's a self-fulfilling truth. Everyone should have an open mind. Of course there are Republicans who are not racist.

I don't agree, I'm pretty certain he hasn't met every republican. He's implying that a majority of republicans are racist, which they aren't.
