How to cell phone upgrades work? Can you get a new phone when its only been a year into your 2 year plan?

You can get a new cellphone anytime you want, but you'll have to pay a small fortune for it. All plans are different. I've been a Verizon customer for so long, I get the NE2, which is $100 off any phone every 2 years. Now if you are a new Verizon customer you only get $50 off every two years. You can check with your cellphone carrier, maybe they have some deals that you can get.

It's probably different for different services. The way my service works, once upgrade time comes, the upgrade is free if you select from a list of certain phones, but you can change your phone at any time if you pay for it.

Yea you can but it's really really REALLY expensive
