That happens a lot to me, so yes I have done it many many times. It sucks if its on vibrate

This is so common, they actually built in a way to find it. Even remote phones have automatic 'finder' tones.

What's worse is when you can't remember where you put it and have no way to call it to find out where it is. Then you see it by the computer and you feel like a jackass.

Yup I found it under my little sister's foot and it was on vibration( wonder if it tickled her foot).

Many of times, thankfully we still have a house phone. I have search the hole house before and found out that I left my phone in my barn.

Yes!! I've done it a lot. My son thinks it's hilarious. A couple times I've had it on "Alarm only" so I have to wait until the it goes off. I lose everything
