I think the best thing is to get out of the way or make an effort at defending yourself without retaliating. The best thng to do with an abusive parent is to report it to a responsible adult. No child should be consistantly beaten Religion is a very hard thing to think of when you are being hurt,but it could not be right to hit your Mother.
