  • First thing I'd point out is that this is from the good ol' Currant Bun so I will wait to see if the story is picked up elsewhere first ;) However it would explain my fixation with the stuff some years back.
  • From the sun so not sure how legit it is.. I really wouldn't be surprised though. I guess I better get myself back to rehab, and here I thought I was clean.
  • It wouldn't hurt my feelings if it was banned everywhere. I think it should have been named "Red Bull Shit In A Can". Of course that's too long, so it could be shortened to "Bull Shit". I can't stand the smell/stench of that crap. A friend of mine, in his late thirties, drank between 3 to 5 cans per day ... until he had a heart attack.
  • Not sure if it makes people high, or if it's because it makes people bounce off the walls, but that drink seems to be doing something that makes people fly. ;-)
  • It probably contains avian genetics technology that literally gives you WINGS! My shoulderblades hurt after drinking it!
  • I don't know. I have wings anyway
  • wrong. its red bull cola. was found with traces of cocaine. red bull energy drink is fine to drink. so is the cola. it was just some idiot playin a prank. like when the jerk found a syringe in his pepsi can. no one stopped drinkin pepsi. no one will stop drinking redbull
  • Man....first they get rid of the coke in coke...now red bull. Who keeps ratting them out?
  • thanks for the humor dear but I had a very bad experience with this issue I didn't know that they were pulled off but that was a good thing, in my country there was another brand of energy drink but they had it in powder form and you just have to mix it in water anyway, three years ago my father was amused with it for it helped us gain strength when we were sickly before. He was 60 yrs old and he was a smoker. He have realized he was going to be a grandfather soon so he had to be strong, we don't have house routine and he took this energy drink for weeks irregularly or even if it was after 4 pm in the afternoon, he may have felt great but his heart was weak with age and the smoking and this energy drink was too much for him, he died within or around two months of taking it, he had a heart attack, I was really very angry with the company and everything for introducing such thing without proper investigation or studies in side effects or dosage or indications for it, its like "hey this product is so potent and we can sell it cheap!" not caring it could have adverse effects for the users. maybe the company didn't mean it but I really wanted to blame them. maybe my dad was spiritually had been given wings to heaven and you know what, he used to make us laugh everyday
  • If it helps, the drink that was banned was Red Bull Cola, not regular Red Bull. Still, in the interest of researching your your question, I'll try Red Bull Cola and get back to you :) For more, see http://www.time.com/time/world/article/0,8599,1900849,00.html
  • As a former addict I'm always skeptical of anything that claims its going to get you up. Or relax you, or anything else that changes how you naturally are. If you want to see how things affect you, go without red meat for a month and then eat a steak.
