  • there is nothing wrong with having braces as an adult. my mom had braces at 30 and didnt get them off till she was 35 and my dad had them at 38. if you really want them, then do it.
  • I'm 26, I have braces on again. This time on the behind side of my teeth. I had them when I was a teenager, but as I got older my teeth shifted back a bit. There's nothing wrong with getting them on at any age.
  • Which looks worse? a lifetime of crooked teeth, or a few years of braces followed by a lifetime of perfect teeth? There is also a lot of new braces which are barely noticeable, like Invisalign. I say if it will make you happy, go for it, but remember it is a commitment, which is painful, and expensive.
  • Tom Cruise wore them when he was 40.
  • I dont have them but im thinking of doing it again also. We got them for my gf a few years ago and she was fine with it, she was a little embarassed at first but she had all metal braces so I guess its understandable. Everyone was really supportive of her and she was smiling all the time in pics a few weeks after she got them on so its not so bad. If you want them fixed go for it, the time goes quicker then you think.
  • I'm 27 and I just got mine at 26. I kinda like them, they make you feel young! Plus there's a sense of accomplishment and more confidence! Definitely worth it! The first week or two hurts a bit (you can't eat solid food), but after that I barely notice. You just have to carry a toothbrush with you everywhere!
