Your VCR will still function however you will have to be watching the channel that you are recording, and remember to leave the converter box turned onto the channel that you want to record because it will now be the box that you use to change the channel. Beware though some of those converter boxes have an auto off timer on them where if you don't change the channel for say 4hours it turns off assuming that it is not being used, so you'll want to disable that before setting your VCR to record something.

You're reading I have a Phillips analog Tv with a built in VCR. I have a converter box. Is there any way my VCR will function after the changeover on June 12th?
