I think that all so-called pro-life proponents don't really believe fetuses are babies. If they did, they would behave way differently than they do. Do you agree?

Most of them don't actually "behave" any particular way in terms of their beliefs, other than vote their conscience.

I think you mean pro-choice... For many that is very true. For others, while they may or may not see the feotus as a baby, a choice has to be made between the welfare of the mother and that of a child yet to come into the world - and they believe that the life of the mother must have priority. Others believe that the feotus is a baby but do not believe they have the right to push their own opinions on to other people. The pro-choice advocates are not a homogenous bunch, and people have a whole host of different reasons why they believe the woman should have the right to choose what to do for herself.

I think that if pro-life proponents truly believed fetuses were babies, they'd do a lot more to help them once they were born. But usually these are the same people who don't want to expand children's health insurance or support out-of-work families.
