No, I feel sorry for them. At the same time, it makes me feel lucky that I have everything I need to live a decent life.
-
No.
-
Nope, I'm far from being wealthy myself
-
No never, I feel for them. Most people today are one paycheck away themselves. You can lose your job and your life could be changed to the point of homelessness, it happens now all too frequently.
-
Never because I'm always thinking that I could always be where they are in an instant.
-
Only the ones whose only excuse is laziness!
-
Sheeet! I ain't *that* big an asshole! ;-)
-
no I feel sorry for them. I am blessed to have a job with health insurance but some people no matter how hard they try can't even find a job. My husband and I are barely surviving as it is. I can't imagine what it's like to have to wonder where your next meal will come from or are you going to make it to the shelter tonight before the beds fill up. EVeryone of us is one paycheck or disaster away from it ourselves.

It would be pretty hypocritical if I did I'm thankfully not in the position anymore but my mother, sister, and I struggled hard and were homeless for awhile. thank god for 24hr diners
-
Only if I know it's their own fault, eg- drug addict. I feel sorry for their kids though.
-
Only if I'm taller than they are
-
I wish I could do something for them to uplift their lives.I mean in a concrete way by finding them good jobs to get them on their feet again.Giving them money and food is just a small part of really helping them.
-
No.
-
Nope. I try to help when I can.
-
Never, we all have our diffulculties in life. Who are we to judge others.
-
No, NEVER anyone could end up there oneday..
-
That's an odd question; not sure what the implication is. I work with a chronically mentally ill population, many of whom were homeless at some point. From where I stand, if anything, I look up :)
-
No , there but for the Grace of God. We never know the circumstances which have put people in their position Everyone has a story.
-
No, I worry about the homeless and have studied generational/situational poverty. It's very complicated, but so much of it has to do with what class you are born/raised in. Many homeless are mentally ill and with support and medication, they would be able to function at a higher level.
-
God forbids! No, I do not look down on the poor or homeless. I would like to care for them as much as I could as the Lord enables me.
-
No. Most of them are veterans. Some of them that I know personally are drug addicts who are trying to recover and just fell on hard times. I don't look down upon anyone who isn't purposely doing something unfriendly.
-
Poor, Homeless.. those ain't bad words. Why should one then look down on them?
-
Only those who are determined to stay that way.
-
I'm on the 15th floor of my condominimum building. How can I not look down on them?? Oh and every week or so I toss a loaf of bread down to them..Last week the guy actually caught it!!
-
Absolutely not, they are people, they deserve respect.
-
If they're very short
-
No. There was a time that I was very poor. I had no money in the bank, and I was struggling to make ends meet. I don't look down on them, instead I volunteer in soup kitchens and etc. I know what it's like to be poor.
-
No because I'm poor and collect Unemployment and live with my mom at age 31 I can't afford californias high prices for rent. It's a struggle just to get $500-800 a month to pay rent plus car and eletric bill and phone bill you need no less than $1,500 a month when you are sinlge to live comfortable in this state.I get just $16 a month for food stamps and thats no joke.
-
Yes, but only because they sit on the floor!
