  • Then people will just hit each other with their guns. Pistol Whip!
  • What about people who shoot for sport??? Then they suffer. It wouldn't be very popular I imagine, or last very long for that matter.
  • Guns do kill people.
  • Same problem as gun control: the criminals will just steal bullets, and no one else will be able to protect themselves against the criminals. It also means that the government will have plenty of bullets and citizens won't. That is the point at which government will go from at least being somewhat our servant to being wholly our master. I'm not interested in being a serf or a slave, are you?
  • Why not stop thinking of ways to usurp the rights, control or even punish law abiding citizens. How about keeping felons in jail till their sentence is served. How about not plea-bargaining away federal firearm violations to get a conviction on something more minor. How about prosecuting the elected who attempt to bypass the Constitution that they swore to uphold and protect. The Constitution is not to be avoided, ever.
  • One problem: the 2nd amendment protects bullets just as much as the gun itself.
  • My father-in-law makes his own bullets. I don't know how common that is, but I'd suspect there are a lot of hard-core gun lovers with this equipment and know-how.
  • Like already said .. people will "Pistol Whip" each other OR find alternative ways to KILL ... Would it be any better if they Blew someone up with a bomb ? Maybe stab them to death or slit their throats ... Hit them with a baseball bat across the back of the head .... Heck; Run them down with a car or truck etc .... The point is that IF you want someone DEAD ; there are MANY ways to KILL besides a Gun ; so why charge HIGH Taxes on Bullets or Guns ?
