Why can't you sing after the rain? You can sing anytime you want. Doesn't have to be in the shower only.

Aw, the birds singing. Of course we can, but most of us would probably be better off singing in our homes rather than going outside and singing with the birds. The neighbors might start to throw things.

They aren't singing, the sudden change in barometric pressure is either imploding their little heads, or their brains are expanding, constrained by their little birdie skulls. Those are bird screams of pain and agony. ;) Happy, happy, joy, joy...happy, happy, joy...
