  • I am presuming that the cap needs removing, and it needs tightening up. Sorry, I don't know the make, but what it seems has happened, is that the nut which holds the wiper to the driver has come loose. If it is the problem, it is a simple fix.
  • Try this test: run the wipers then jiggle the wiper to see if it "catches" and starts moving. If it does, then it is probably loose as per the other answer by Mr Fixit. If not, you'll probably have to take it to the shop.
  • Two possibilities: 1. As already stated, it could be as simple as the nut that holds the wiper on. Just tighten it up and you'll be good to go. 2. The wiper arm linkage that goes from the motor to the wiper could have popped off. To fix it you'd have to remove the black windshield cowl (SP?) underneath the wipers and pop the linkage back on. (happened to me once)
