  • !Ahaha No, But good luck with that one. People just don't care about what's appropriate anymore. You open your mouth, and you'll be the bad guy. But you are 100& right.
  • It only becomes inappropriate when you start analysing the words when they are that young - if you tell them it is something bad they will all want a copy! Ignore it and it's just another song in the charts!
  • I don't find it in the least bit inappropriate. Certainly compared to any other songs that might be played for that age. Other songs are more complex about the sexuality that's at their core, but they're not any more "appropriate." Ever listen to a Brittany Spears album? Particularly her younger days? Same target, same meaning. Just with straight sex not lesbians. (personally, I've been trying to convince my daughter to be a lesbian her entire life)
  • I am not familiar with the song, so looked it up. And I do not think it's appropriate but the kids are probably not paying attention to the song, probably too busy playing. Don't know who picked this song, but probably speak to them. "This was never the way I planned Not my intention. I got so brave, drink in hand Lost my discretion It's not what I'm used to Just wanna try you on I'm curious, for you, Caught my attention I kissed a girl And I liked it The taste of her cherry chapstick I kissed a girl Just to try it I hope my boyfriend don't mind it It felt so wrong It felt so right Don't mean I'm in love tonight I kissed a girl And I liked it (I liked it) No, I don't even know your name It doesn't matter You're my experimental game Just human nature It's not what good girls do Not how they should behave My head gets so confused Hard to obey I kissed a girl And I liked it The taste of her cherry chapstick I kissed a girl Just to try it I hope my boyfriend don't mind it It felt so wrong It felt so right Don't mean I'm in love tonight I kissed a girl And I liked it (I liked it) Us girls we are so magical Soft skin, red lips, so kissable Hard to resist, so touchable Too good to deny it Ain't no big deal it's innocent I kissed a girl And I liked it The taste of her cherry chapstick I kissed a girl Just to try it I hope my boyfriend don't mind it It felt so wrong It felt so right Don't mean I'm in love tonight I kissed a girl And I liked it (I liked it)"
  • Of course it is inappropriate! Those who say kid's don't hear the words or can't understand it, must not have kids. They hear EVERYTHING and soak up EVERYTHING!! Have you ever watched a child playing at that age and you say something to your friend and the kid has his back to you not paying attention. All of the sudden they are repeating what you said and turn into a parrot. It is all soaked up does the damage when they are that age. I would have gone into the school and complained.
  • I don't think it is. +5
  • I'm not sure if I Kissed A Girl is very inappropriate, but I know that Get Low is, and I've heard it played at a fun day for the same age group before!
