Interestingly enough there are no words in the english language which describe a smell. We only use words to relate a smell to something.

I think maybe guys are more likely to smell it than girls but that is a good question.

I used to do it, too, but after about the five billionth instance of kicking myself for stupidity, I finally learned it's OK to believe the other person when he/she says something really stinks Same thing when someone says, "You really don't want to know." I used to be like, "Yes, I do. Go ahead - tell me." But now? I'll take your word for it <grin>.

actually, i usually won't smell it! i try to learn from other's pain, not experience it myself.
