  • Before you ask a question like that, you really need the facts, which I don't have either. I do know several educators and what they go through, so I'll take a shot at this: 1. For a child at school to be diagnosed with ADD means that they are acting differently from the other children. Something set them apart. 2. You can't teach a child that can't sit still, nor can you teach the other children in the same classroom. Whether you like it or not, the ADD child will pull focus. 3. Are a lot of kids using ADD as a crutch? Or is this something that is merely "truthy?" Unless you can cite some research, I'm skeptical of this claim of yours.
  • Schools are full of shit anyhow. Their entire goal is to teach intelligent conformity, when true success stems from originality combined with intelligence.
