I was surprised he committed suicide. Last I heard, he had a bit of a cult following -- people who apparently thought he was actually as wise as Kane :) It's sad when someone can't find the light, regardless of their level of success.

I was sorry to read of it. When I watched Kill Bill, he looked shockingly old to me, though. I hope he died of natural causes, and not foul play. As far as I know, he deserved better than that. But the city he was found in isn't known for it's safety.
