Definitely. Not just words in the English language, but universal internet acronyms too. The acronym "LOL"used to be used sparingly, only in times of great humor and joy. Now, it is used almost all the time, without the true meaning. Words like "Rofl" and "Lmao" are dying too.

Yes. Words die and change. Take the word 'awful' for example. At the present, it means bad, shocking, horrific, unpleasant. In the past it meant inspiring reverential wonder. The word is frequently used, and it's meaning has been lost/changed over time.

Yes, for example the word "jalope" today has been changed to "clunker". If you didn't get rid of your clunker yesterday, it is too late today.
