Question

Help answer this question below.

I just started birth control today. My period just ended three days ago, but my doctor said it was okay to start today. Will this affect how effective the pill is in preventing pregnancy? How long do I need to wait until I am protected from pregnancy?

no that is fine to start now. you will need to take extra precautions for the next 1-2 weeks for pregnancy, then you should be ok. Why are you asking this, your doctor should have confirmed all these details before giving you the pill!!!
