  • If I had to choose, I'd say the first one, because the second one makes it sound like the guy is the one who wants sex, and that's not always true. Teen girls have desires, and American culture does them a great disservice by denying that fact. But if I were trying to persuade a girl to wait, I'd try to come up with a different saying. Both sound kind of sleazy to me.
  • The first one. The second statement assumes that only the male has hormones, and that the, well, male part is what dominates the sexual relationship <blushing> Though I am sure that's how the statement originated, I think that it's important to remember: there shouldn't be a double standard. Men and women should both choose to have sex because it is wanted and the timing is right. Pressure from the other should not be the dominating factor, and each person should choose based on readiness and desire to engage.
  • One phrase will not stop a teenager from having sex if they want to.
