you may need a new router
I also have that problem, except mine is a USB 3G dongle, and it is forever disconnecting, so I have to unplug it and plug it back it. Really is so annoying!
Try go to control panel > network connections, then right click your internet connection and "Disable" it, then "Enable" it. Might save you having to reboot everytime but does not solve your problem.
I would advise taking your modem to a friends house and trying it with theres, or try a different LAN card in your computer.
Otherthan that...not a clue mate, sorry

I have that problem too. The coaxial cable from the wall to the cable modem tends to come apart at one end. I can usually push it back together and it will work for a while. The other problem I have is with accidentally bumping the standby button on the modem. You might try checking those.

You're reading Why would I keep losing my Internet connectivity? When I boot up I have access just for a few minutes, then I lose it and have to re-boot and the same thing happens. A virus scan turned up nothing. Is it most likely my computer, my modem or my cable ISP?
