What do you think about purple and yellow together?

those are the colours of my bedroom! a nice warm yellow and a sort of deep purple go lovely together. what's it for?

Very tacky and quite ugly. It also just so happens to be the team colours of the football team at the local highschool where I live, so I also connect it with large people in helmets who like to beat the Sh*t out of me.

Only that they are the most awesome colors ever. Go Tigers!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, and I really like a dusty purple with a soft light gold. My front door is purple and my house is gold.

I don't think we have any business telling purple who it should be with. Whoever it wants to be with is no concern of ours. And why is everyone so uptight about it? This is the 21st century, folks! It's perfectly natural and we need to recognize it.

they are great! they are natural opposites and therefor are meant to go together, bright shades wouldn't be very conducive for sleep but otherwise they're wonderful

It works in nature so well and can be so beautiful and vibrant on a person. Think of a lovely field of flowers, possibly gorgeous purple lupine with masses of yellow buttercups throughout. You can even add splashes of orange Cailfornia poppies for extra spice!

I think they look great together. I love to see mauve /purple and yellow flowers together I do not see why it should not look good in other situations.

i like both colours, but it depends how you are using them.. if its clothing well its fine but if its as in decorating a room, i wouldnt like it much! Purple and yellow flowers are also lovely together.
