  • Just because someone has some experience on a matter doesn't make them the infallible authority. A great example here would be Karl Marx himself, whose original theories on Communism were, in fact, based on experience with the negative fallout of Capitalism. My point here is that experience does not necessarily make one credible, nor does lack of it make one unreliable as an authority. Ultimately, we should be judging ideas and predictions at face value, not based off of who's saying them or what their background is.
