Delete the drive or the contents of the drive? The best way to delete everything from your PC is to put in the recovery disks and restore the PC to its original factory settings. If you don't have those CDs you can take it to a repair shop and have them wipe it all for you, but this costs money.

You can delete CONTENT (files & folders), but you can't delete a drive (hardware). Normally, you clear all content from a drive by formatting it, but Windows won't let you format the same drive you have booted from. If you boot from a Windows installation CD (or any other OS install disk), one of the options is to format the drive. If this is a security issue and you must remove all traces of evidence, that's a different matter. Can you give more details?

But you can format using the magic of Linux. Get, umm, perhaps Puppy Linux, it has a program called GParted included, and use it to format. Or if you have a tower machine, you can just take out the HD and put it inside other comp and and then Delete.
