  • I believe Andy Warhol would disagree.
  • Not at all. It served to refine representational art. The camera was invented as an optical instrument more than 400 years ago. In the 19th century, the chemical processes necessary to capture and preserve an image created by the camera lens was invented.
  • Do you mean art that appears to be a photograph? I'm not sure what "representational art" is. The photographs of Ansel Adams are breathtaking..true art. But I still enjoy seeing a beautiful landscape or seascape or even something so mundane as a bowl of fruit sitting on a sideboard, either in oil or charcoal or whatever medium the artist chooses to use. :) ((hugs))
  • No. You can still find that art.
  • Has representational art come to and end since the advent of the camera? That should give you the answer
  • when did representational art end exactly?
