  • AHHH, personal responsibility! What an archaic concept. :) Yeah, I think many lawsuits are about parents not doing their jobs. A parent's job is to teach a kid to be responsible and to think for themselves, not to specifically think of every possible danger and warn the kid off. After a certain and fairly young age, a child should be able to look at a scenario and think "that's a dumb idea. I'd better not do that." You can't protect a child from every possible danger, but you have a better chance if you teach them to think.
  • Or maybe there is no one to blame. Accidents do happen. Unbreakable things do break. Childproof toys are often figured out by little ones. Toys are used in ways they weren't developed for but no one knew it. . I am so tired of there always needing to be someone to blame.
