Because people like to talk about bad news. People like bad news as long as it doesnt effect them. Kinda like a true reality drama

Because people don't get jealous with bad news. Bad news give people a chance to pull another person down. What a mentality.
Talking about good news about someone else will just make insecure people more insecure so they'd rather change topic.

I don't think bad news travels any faster, there just seems to be so much more of it.

Think about it when something good happens to you you'll tell a few people and be happy.

When something bad happens you're angry and want the world to be pissed about it.

I think its because bad news is fuelled by anger.

Because human beings don't feel complete unless they are in some form of drama... Some like to perpetuate it and some like to cause it and some just enjoy other peoples misery.

    It's human nature.
