+5...The Tibetan book of the dead was written circa 158 AD. It was written on aluminum foil to preserve it until today. Ancient scribes worked by incandescent bulbs with no air conditioning and sweat marks can still be seen on the foil. In the book it describes how Republicans should vote for no social programs and no food for the hungry because they went to college and everyone else should too. It is truly a book for dead people.And now you know the rest of the story

Why do Buddhists shave their heads? Rather than being a sign of humility, is this not MORE image-conscious, because of the effort required?

If someone reachs Nirvana in the buddhist belief and becomes free from rebirth what happens to the energy if the person can't be reborn.
