I think the two sides are locked in an internecine Battle Royale and it is infinitely more interesting to watch than how they approach the Sosomayor situation. Whoever emerges will control the party and blood will be drawn. One side fights fair, the other doesn't. One side seeks moderation, the other side abhors anything that smacks of fairness. It is a battle to the death and it may totally destroy the GOP. We shall see! Happy Saturday! :) ((hugs))

I think the Republicans are shooting themselves in the foot again. odds are more than great she will be nominated and being known as the party that tried to block the first hispanic justice is the last thing they need.

Too bad the GOP isn't divided over real issues like: prosecuting Bush & Cheney's war crimes or ending the war or stopping funding of Israel's terrorism or finding a viable solution to healthcare...
