They have outgrown themselves and now do more harm to the economy than ever. I don't blame the workers, they are just trying to provide for their families like everyone else. The larger unions are mismanaged.

I'm not following you. Why should they have to pay taxes? There money comes from money that has already been taxed. Putting aside corruption and misuse of funds, the purpose of unions should fall in a nonprofit realm that is not taxed.

Unions are like none profits right? like a church? Churches don't pay taxes either I believe. I am glad they don't pay taxes otherwise everyones dues would go up

I have never thought about it Babe. I think of entities that are "for-profit" companies paying taxes. Unions are purported to be organized for the benefit of its members and provide money when they are out of work from the dues that are collected..rather like unemployment insurance. I know the officers get salaries and I know some unions are corrupt but so are some church organizations and they don't pay taxes either. Happy Saturday! :) ((hugs))
