I want to record a conversation between myself and someone that will be unaware of being recorded. I'll carry the microphone and recorder because it'll take place outside and possibly on the move. Anyone know what i'll need to get the best recording?

Well sneaky they do sell voice activated very small battery operated recorders you can put in apocket... they pick up sound very well and will start recording when the voice starts... you can adjust the level of sound that makes them start....
