Help answer this question below.

Which is better (cheaper)? Exchanging currency here in the US or when you get to your overseas destination? It will be dollars for Euros.

    Personally I wouldn't exchange either place. It's a much better exchange rate to take a ATM draw when you are there! and for the most part, charge what you can for an even better rate.

    right now the euro is $1.40 per $1 , think might be cheaper if you did it here..

    I would do it here. Lots of criminal activity happens around and outside of money changers. People get robbed when they enter or exit a money changer...just because everyone knows they have extra money on them.
