  • If the retail business was my profession, I would initially be "taken back and ticked off". But, after getting over the initial criticism, I would assess my appearance and decide if there was any truth to what my boss said and if so, I would work at presenting myself with a more professional appearance.

But I suppose, I'd just take off my flip-flops, my Club Foot T shirt with Joey on it, my raggedy jeans with the holes, my mismatched socks, and my 6 year old Chuck Taylors and change into my spare suit that I keep in the trunk along with my tie that I keep back there from my banking days when the HR vice president told me that I had to wear a tie ever' day.
