  • No. You'll probably have a better bet doing a last name search on a few Genealogy websites. houseofnames.com is a good one.
  • DNA has opened a whole new world for tracing where you are from. Unlike names that can be changed or forgotten, you are rather stuck with your DNA. You can trace back your maternal line through Mitochondrial DNA all the way back to the dawn of time. If you are male, you can use Y Chromosome analysis to follow your paternal line. Unfortunately, if you aren't male, you'll need to borrow your brother's or father's Y chromosome to do that.
