There are only 2 Beatles left, so I'm guessing the Stones would win any battle going.

I would go with the Stones as The Beatles always had this goody two shoes image. Don't get me wrong they made an enormous contribution to music but for me Keef and Mick and the boys were better.

this would greatly depend on who the audience was ...having grown up with both the Beatles and the Stones its to hard for me to pick as both are Legends

Bit of a Laugh of a competition! Isn't it?? Really? Beatles. Have sold well over a Billion recordings. No other group or soloist has come close right now
